| Some Super cool wall hangings that were made from Vintage sconces that I spray-painted in a glossy bright red. I fastened them to some cabinet doors that I got from my friend Clemente over at Texas Crown & Millwork.. I love to get his Trash! Then did all the hand-painted details in Lipstick colors of Red & Pink. The striped hanging at the top was also a cabinet door from him that I painted with chalkboard paint & added the hooks & crystal knobs for a neat message board that kids can hang towels on or can hang your accessories. |

| The original small metal pulls were dull & boring with no character. I found these vintage-look knobs which enhance the small drawers perfectly. I gently sanded around all the curved details to highlight the beauty of all the wonderful scroll work. |

| I wanted to keep the inside drawers of the piece its original aged patina. I thoroughly cleaned them & sealed in its age which was a nice finishing touch to give them a subtle shine and clean feel. When I picked up this desk it had some stuff rattling around in the drawers. I opened the bottom drawer to find someones personal items.. boxes of old wax matches from ITALY, and old typewriter eraser with brush, old stamps, keys, several old rulers & old, old negatives of christmas pictures with tree & children! |

| With a nice Sable Brush I trimmed the edges in an Old White & gently sanded to let the blue come through. I rubbed in a wonderful French Wax all over the piece which richened the pale dusty blue & gave the paint more dimension along with protecting the Vintage Finish. |

| I didn't know how I was going to make-over this piece until I found beautiful Vintage-Looking Paper at the local hobby store. It has a wonderful aged appearance with browned distressed edges along with fading & yellowing that comes with age. I loved the pretty floral scroll design of the paper as well. |

| Three separate pieces across each drawer front added much character & the illusion of more little drawers. I carefully glued each in place and pressed out any bubbling. After completely dry I added a layer of varnish to protect the paper and seal down the edges. |

| This beauty was completely cleaned up & needed paint inside & out for a thorough makeover. Drawers were painted on all sides including underneath & back. The "Love" stenciling was appropriate on the inside drawers of this piece because it needed alot of it for it's restoration. |

| The soft pink paint was gently distressed & sealed with a tinted French Wax to collect in the crackles to further highlight it's age and protect its wonderful French Finish. |
