This Vintage French Provincial 9-Drawer Dresser was Restyled in Signature Victoria's Secret Colors and Color-Matched to Perfection!

Keep in mind that I take all necessary steps in restoring a Vintage Piece! 
 My pieces are thoroughly PREPPED with rigorous Sanding and Several Coats of Primer used to ensure Maximum Paint Adhesion.  I apply several coats of the Beautiful color, carefully sanding between each layer.  I also wipe my pieces down with Tack Cloth throughout the process to pickup any contaminants that would cause flaws in the paint coats.  Drawers are Painted INSIDE & OUT and I also clean & vacuum anything left behind underneath and inside on every piece.  I also use the necessary TOP COAT to ensure Maximum Durability of the Paint FINISH and to Protect the Artwork!

This chest was so stunning all around that it called for a Brocade Medallion hand-painted in metallics!

This piece came with shiney brass drawer pulls.  I went through my box of salvaged goodies and put together miss-matched vintage relics with a time-worn rusty patina.  They just add even more character to the piece making it look worldly & traveled.

I was told that the wood is "Exotic".  This looks like a one-of-a-kind piece even back in it's day.  I imagine it was made by a woodworking artisan seeing how detailed the woodgraining is along with the creativity that went into the piece using off-set hardware on the front and the art-deco styled design down the front doors.

The doors open to display a neoclassic angel design from Robert Adams (neoclassic architect)

The hardware is all original to this piece.  It does have a locking mechanism but is missing its key.

I found that it was easier to strip the entire piece & when I did I found that the top had alot of detail & character. Even though it had a little veneer chipping it was still too lovely to paint over.
